A Message From Troy Anderson
Our Motto is: Fitness Ain’t Pretty. Results Are.
Troy M. Anderson is the owner of Anderson Training Systems, a fitness and sport performance coaching business located in Tempe, Arizona. He has coached everyone from working mothers, teens and seniors to roller derby girls and extreme athletes with fast, accessible exercise programs. Anderson has been training athletes of all levels since 1999. In all his programs, his mission is always to help people get results faster.
Anderson is no stranger to obstacles. He was raised on a “dirt poor” farm, lost every wrestling match at the ripe old age of 10, graduated from a class of 17 kids and went to college on a football scholarship, serving as “cannon fodder” for the upper classmen. From there, he served three years in the US Army before starting his career as a fitness coach. Regardless of the obstacle, perseverance and a “never let go” attitude is a belief that Anderson tries to instill in all he works with.
He uses the lessons of frustration (and sometimes failure) in his personalized coaching. Anderson’s “MacGyver” style of coaching is rooted in finding what works so that clients don’t have to experience the same failures. With each client, he seeks to find a simpler, more effective program so they can be their best.
Whether working with clients or educating other fitness professionals, there is a “no-frills” approach at Anderson Training Systems that is about the pursuit of a better and more time-effective way to exercise. Anderson uses basic equipment as well as unconventional training tools such as kettlebells, sandbags, and TRX training to build workout programs with many different layers and features that can be systematically manipulated to provide the stimulus and challenge that will get clients the results they desire fast.
